Nutrition is very important to the body and it helps the body in various ways. For kids this is very important seeing as nowadays there is a significant increase in the cases of obesity. A lot of other conditions are also caused by improper nutrition. Sandwich with vegetables and ham

The sandwich above does not have to be made of ham only. It can also be made using chicken and the vegetables can consist of sprouts, eggplants, bell peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms. The things that you will require for this meal include butter, 1/3 mayonnaise cup, a teaspoon of prepared mustard, a teaspoon of grated onion, 12 slices of bread, and two cups of finely chopped ham that has been cooked.

To prepare this, mix the onion, celery, and finely chopped ham inside a bowl, adding mayonnaise and mustard. Mix this mixture properly and put it aside. Butter up the slices of breads and then fill the salad mixture. Now place the other bread on top of the other slice and cut diagonally prior to packing.

Bean salad

The ingredients that you will require for this include a dash of sauce that is hot, salt, ¼ cup of chopped grown onion, 1 ½ tablespoonfuls of vegetable oil, 1/4 cup of green chilies that are chopped, 2 chopped apples, 1 ½ tablespoonfuls of wine vinegar, ¼ cup of finely chopped celery and sixteen ounces of drained, rinsed kidney beans.

Inside a mixing bowl, mix the apples, green onions, chilies, celery and beans. To this mixture also add the vinegar oil, salt and the hot sauce. Now refrigerate the mixture for around thirty minutes. This can be prepared during the night in order to save time for the following day.

Tortilla wrap

This is can be used to avoid the monotony of sandwiches. The ingredients for this include pepper, salt, 2 thin slices of tomato, 3 teaspoons of mayonnaise, an ounce of Swiss cheese, two ounces of sliced cooked turkey, 3 teaspoons of onions that is chopped and red, ¼ cup of baby spinach leaves, 3 tsp. of grated parmesan cheese and 25 cm of large flour tortilla.

Mix the parmesan cheese and the mayonnaise. Take the tortilla and evenly spread this over the mixture. Now fill a third of tortilla with the red onions, spinach, tomato slices, sliced cheese and turkey. Now sprinkle some of the pepper and salt and roll the tortilla tightly. Cut them into half and then pack them.
