Recipe: Navratan Korma

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup poppy seeds
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 cup paneer (small pieces)
  • 3 cups mixed vegetables (boiled)
  • 1 cup phool makhanas
  • 4 onion paste
  • ½ cup cashew nuts ( small pieces)
  • 2 tspn ginger paste
  • 4 tbspn oil
  • 2 garlic paste
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cup tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tspn red chilly powder
  • 1 tspn cumin seeds
  • 1.5 tspn salt
  • ½ cup coconut powder
  • 1 tspn garam masala
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves
  • 1 cup water

 Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan and put all the condiments in it.
  • Add onion, ginger and garlic paste. Fry till light brown.
  • Now add all the ingredients except coriander leaves and garam masala.
  • Cook it for 15 minutes on high flame.
  • While serving put coriander leaves and garam masala over it.
  • Serve it with rumali roti.
