What is Circulatory System?
Circulatory System of organs that are responsible for the transportation of hormones, gases, blood cells and also nutrients to the body cells and also from them. The aim of this is to ensure that you are able to maintain the right body temperature, keep away diseases and also in maintaining the required pH and homeostasis. This system consists of the network of blood distribution in the body, but others would also consider the lymphatic system, which distributes lymph, to be part and parcel of the general circulation system. Circulatory systems in different animals:
The circulatory system usually occurs in different variations in different types of animals.

This means that the fluid for transport, the blood, is always in the blood vessels such as the veins, arteries and capillaries as it circulates. The blood does not move out of the vessels. It would be important to note that there are animals that do not have a circulatory system, and also that the lymphatic system is of the open type.
Cardiovascular system:
The cardiovascular system is the term that is used to refer specifically to the circulation of blood, and when you are to put special focus on the human cardiovascular system, you would find it mainly consists of the heart, which pumps blood, and the blood vessels, which is the means through which the blood is circulated. The circulation of blood is also classified in two divisions: pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation. Pulmonary circulation is the part where the blood gets to be oxygenated, and this is when it goes through the lungs, while systemic circulation refers to the circulation loop where the blood that is now rich in oxygen is distributed to the other organs in the body.

Also, the digestive system works hand in hand with the circulatory system in the sense that it gives the heart the nutrients it needs so as to keep pumping.
